- Boy Division Journey-Chronicle Initiative Project
“With the Memory Chronicle Regiment Project having come to an end, I took it upon myself to start a new project. Send in thank-you letters, explaining what your journey with My Chemical Romance looked like, along with photographs, and other memorabilia. I will make each band-member a scrapbook, so if you have multiple letters you would like to include, please indicate to which bandmembers each of the letters is directed torward. Once we reach the conclusion of our time, I will compile each of the scrapbooks and either a) present the scrapbook to the designated bandmember when I see them in concert
or b) I will send it to the address that accepts their fan-mail.With the Memory Chronicle Regiment Project having come to an end, I took it upon myself to start a new project. - MCR Tribute
“In my school, my year group are to work on a semester-long project of our choice that goes towards our grade at the end of the year. I, not being truly passionate about a lot of things, decided that the best thing for me to do would be something on My Chemical Romance. My train of thought, being a weird one, went from thinking about the blogs on Tumblr to the stories people tell and the way they talk about MCR, to wondering if MCR would ever see that to thinking, ‘Hey – what if they could?’
I’ve seen so many My Chemical Romance appreciation blogs on Tumblr, and there are so many people who I read stories about who care so much about the band and their music. I was sitting there trying to think of ways that MCR could see it all – set up a blog specifically for letters? Yeah, cool. No, but what about a book? A book filled with letters, photographs, artwork and edits from the fans to the band? Yeah, that was what I wanted to do. So that’s what I’m doing.”

- Gerard’s 35th
“Gerard’s birthday is around the corner and we’re running out of time so heres a quick project for you killjoys to finish and submit! All you have to do is send pictures like the ones above [paint your hands in the same manner with the SAME writing on it] along with a SHORT message for Gerard to firstname.lastname@example.org! For those wondering, the text means ‘NA’ (as in, Na Na Na) in Hindi, our main regional language! All your hands will be Photoshopped into the Indian flag and we will probably add some more text somewhere! All your names WILL be included! And we will post the final product for you to see when we send it to the boys! Keep sending the pics in and let everyone know! You don’t have to be Indian to participate! We’d like KILLJOYS in general to join, we don’t discriminate between nationalities! 🙂 So do your bit and contribute!”

– Made by Natassja
“This is an MCRmy-wide mission dedicated to My Chemical Romance as a thank you gift. We are all agreed that MCR has influenced us in many positive ways, so this is a way to say thank you, by sharing memories and thoughts about the band. We will be preparing a scrapbook full of mementos sent in by fans from all over the world and sending it to the band by way of Gerard’s fan mail address. Each page will be carefully put together and decorated before being bound in a book and sent off. We need your stories about your favorite My Chemical Romance memories. Did you have a mind-blowing concert experience? Have you met any of the guys? When did you first hear the music? Did you make any friends because of MCR? How did you feel? Tell them! Say thank you. Please help spread the news of this project on Facebook, Twitter, tumblr, or any other site you frequent! Link back to the MCRmy post or our twitter account. The more memories we receive, the better the book will be. Remember, we can’t do this without your help!”
